I qualified as a vet in 2005 in Poland from Warmia and Masuria University. After working for a year in a small animal practice in Poland I moved to the UK. In 2008 I started working in a busy small animal practice in the West Midlands, where I developed a strong interest in emergency and critical care. In 2016 I gained a General Practitioner Status qualification in Small Animal Emergency Medicine and Surgery. Between 2016 and 2019 I worked as a night veterinary surgeon in Gloucestershire. In May 2009 I took on a position as a lead veterinary surgeon in a West Midlands out of hours veterinary practice. At the end of 2021 my fiancé and I decided upon a big move to relocate to Lake District, which has always been close to our hearts.
I joined Highgate Veterinary Clinic in January 2022 as a part-time vet and settled well within the team. It is good to be back in the day practice, having opportunity to follow up on cases and get to know my patients. I enjoy every aspect of my job, and have a special interest in diagnostic ultrasonography.
Outside of work I love being outdoor on the fells, running, hiking or cycling, or spending time at home on art and crafts up-cycling and woodworking. I live with my fiancé, and our two rescued pets, Oti, Labrador cross, and Kulfon a black domestic short haired cat.
