We are searching for an enthusiastic, caring full time receptionist to work at our main Highgate surgery, with occasional shifts at our Beezon Road branch. The ideal candidate is a people person who understands the concerns of pet owners whilst offering excellent front of house customer service. Veterinary practice experience would be preferred but full training would be given to the successful candidate.
The position involves meeting and greeting clients in person and by ‘phone, stock and diary management, daily takings and petty cash administration, assisting the vets and registered veterinary nurses and carrying out accurate financial transactions. Responsibilities will also include responding to client emails, processing electronic requests and completing pet insurance claims, with the support of the team. Therefore, we seek a highly responsible, well organised team player with a helpful and conscientious attitude.
Working hours will be 8am - 5.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (38 hours/week) with occasional need to stay beyond this for either planned evening shifts of unplanned overtime.
