I graduated as a vet from the University of Bristol in July 2017 and decided to make the leap up north to join Highgate Vets for my first job. The team are so friendly and supportive which has enabled me to integrate well into the practice. I enjoy all aspects of small animal veterinary work, especially surgery and working up more difficult cases by using the microscope to look at samples from skin, blood, urine or lumps and bumps. Whilst at university I did a BSc in Comparative Pathology (the study of disease) and came away with a first-class Honours, this definitely sparked my interest in microscopy. When not at work, I love to explore the Lake District and can be found anywhere from the climbing wall to mountain biking, fell running to ballet! I really look forward to getting to know you and your pets.
